Course Endorsement – Cumbria LSCB Newsletter (April 2017)

Congratulations to Safe Haven Consulting on becoming the first agency to receive course endorsement from the LSCB.

"The endorsement process has enabled Safe Haven Consulting to develop a positive working relationship with Cumbria LSCB. We now have effective links in place to share key information quickly which we can then reflect in our training.

Jeanette & Diane welcomed the opportunity to be the first safeguarding training provider to be endorsed by Cumbria LSCB and to pilot the process with them. Our letter of endorsement recognises that our training meets the required standards which hopefully others can follow.

The quality of safeguarding training we provide to schools and the organisations we support is key to our service. We are delighted that the training we deliver has been recognised and endorsed by Cumbria LSCB".

Jeanette & Diane, Directors of Safe Haven Consulting.

This training should be updated atleast every two years. In addition to this formal training, their skills and knowledge should be refreshed at regular intervals, as required, but at least annually, to allow them to undestand and keep up with any developments relevant to their role'.
