Safeguarding for Governors & Safeguarding Teams
Aim: For Governors and Safeguarding Teams to understand the breadth of their Safeguarding responsibilities in line with Ofsted and Keeping Children Safe in Education (September 2016) requirements.
Objectives:
- For Governors to recognise their roles and responsibilities with regards to Safeguarding Children.
- For Governors to be able to demonstrate how Safeguarding will be developed in their School.
- For Governors to consider and identify their next steps through the development of a safeguarding action plan. Duration: 9:30-15:00
This safegaurding training is suitable for all Governors and those with Nominated responsiblity. Safeguarding Teams are also welcome.
Governors have found it particularly beneficial to attend with their DSL or member of their school Safeguarding Team.
